Important Information for Tennis and Pickleball Players
- Courts operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so be mindful of others waiting to play.
- To ensure fair access, players are encouraged to limit their game time to 30 minutes when others are waiting.
- Seasonal Availability: Court maintenance, including net installation, begins in late April, and courts officially open in early May. However, adverse weather conditions like snow, frost, or heavy rain may delay openings.
- Courts close in October for the winter season.
- Some courts are also lined for pickleball play, providing additional recreational opportunities.
Renting a Court
For those looking to book a court for private or organized play, reservations can be made by emailing tennis@ottawa.ca with the following details:
- Organization name (if applicable)
- Contact name and information
- Desired court location
- Requested dates and times
- Any special instructions
Once requested, a rental contract will be sent via email, outlining payment details and terms. The reservation is confirmed once the signed contract and payment have been received.
2025 Rental Rates (before applicable taxes):
- Adults: $10.10 per hour
- Youth/Children: $8.23 per hour
- Commercial or Private Use: $18.52 per hour
